Who Is God – Part 3

(March 02, 2016)

God is the living “spirit being”; who is the source and light of all life. God is the embodiment of all true love that is in existence!
John 3: 16 (β€œFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”)

When God created the universe with celestial planets, stars and life within it; He accomplished these with a true & foundational love (Exodus 34: 6 ~ 7).

The “eternal life” spoken of above, is the provision for humans to live in a “glorified” state of grace, not in an eternal state of condemnation.

Praise, Glory & Honor be to our God!

The Holy Bible has numerous references to Gods’ love, mercy and eternal kindness (steadfast love) (Psalm 100, 107, 118,136, 1 Chronicles 16:34 & many, many more). When we consider the meaning of the word love it is often difficult to assign a reliable definition. Human love is so often mixed with other human emotions, many of them which have nothing to do with true love at all. We many times assign lust, covetousness, burning desires and other fleshly traits to our understanding of love.

The person of God has been the manifestation of true love from eternity… He has never been without the full measure of what is true and gracious love.

God is the complete embodiment of love. Love is Not God! In other words; a very human desire is to defined love as being God Himself. The fact is that everything that is (truly) love comes from God and is held within and is bestowed from God. Humans are the beneficiaries of the love of God, not the source (1 John 4: 7 ~ 12).

The most distinct and valuable attributes of mankind all come from “The Father of Light”, God Himself. The source and foundation of every evil and vile thing that proceeds from human beings are founded in the darkness manifest through the fallen angel Satan and our willingness to follow him. All we have for options is to choose; who is our master. This is a very difficult thing for people to grasp; the idea that we offer no real original love of our own… these were all inherent in God before we had been created.

We will not all die, and this is a death that is defined by Gods’ view on the matter, not ours. This death is a spiritual death that is devoid of all things that are from our God and creator (1 Corinthians 15: 50 ~ 58). Since every single thing that is Love proceeds from God, and sin cannot be manifest in the presence of God; then when all things are brought to Gods’ intended completion there will be no sin or iniquity where He is (Ecclesiastes 9: 4 ~ 5).

Only the people who have accepted His forgiveness will be with God in His redeemed and perfect kingdom… all others will be “cast-out”. Any semblance of love will not be in the place or among the living beings that have been separated from God.
In a world without Gods’ blessing there will be No Love (at all)!

Concurrently; for those that are “cleansed” from their sin and welcomed into Gods’ family and kingdom, the true and deepest measure of Gods’ love will be manifest fully and eternally. This alone should be cause for serious consideration for every person who has lived. We have the instruction and ability to have lives that display the love that God had ordained when he created all things; we cannot do this in our own power because our very nature is a sinful one.

However with belief and faith in God humans can attain these greater things. True love is defined;
1 Corinthians 13: 4 ~ 7;
Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

The Love of God has allowed a way for us to be enveloped in His mercy and kindness.

These things are so very “weighty” by human standards, and as our world spirals into deeper and deeper sin against God the air is thickened with the iniquity of pride, arrogance, disobedience, covetousness, selfish ambitions and every kind of ungodly behavior. Many people simply resign these as the ideas of people whose heads are stuck in a fantasy world; some others will deny God so as to offer a futile and vain diversion from the truth. It is much better that our sin and selfish desires are simply another human trait. My friend I implore you to rethink these ideas if you embrace them; they only lead to the end of yourself. We will all reach the end of ourselves at some time. God has revealed Himself and taught us everything we need to know in order to prevail over a fallen condition that is of our own choice, and doing.

Something that I have found to be uplifting and a source of peace and joyfulness in my life is music that reflects Gods’ own character as revealed in the Holy Bible.

The following lyrics are pulled from a song that speaks to the wonderful and awesome person (the Love) of God.

The Love of God
Frederick M Lehman MercyMe version

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell
The guilty pair, bowed down with care
God gave His Son to win
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin
Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song
